   A cousin of mine has fibromyalgia and was diagnosed several years ago. She now receives disability it became so bad. They had her on so many prescriptions she could barely drive a car. I am not encouraging, but only sharing what she feels works for her - medicinal marijuana. It helps her muscles to relax, the pain to subside and she is still able to do most daily tasks without feeling totally lethargic.

   I have upped my protein intake and started walking at first I had been slow but now I just do it it is hard at first but a little at a time I have been dealing with this for years Good Luck oh and ask your Dr.about yoga & meditation and diet

   No, I havent been test for Lyme Disease. But I do have Fibro. It effects much more than you would think. Other than the obvious, it causes depression, hypertension,it can cause chronic constipation, headaches…….

   I found a website Qualityhealth.com, that has a message board and have found it helpfull to read others experiences with fibro. It at best made me realize that I’m not imagining all these things wrong. Fibro is hard to diagnose and I dont think docs treat for all symptoms. I’ve gotten so real good advice on that MB> Good Luck.

   Have you been tested for Epstein-Barr Virus? Also if your suffering from fibromyalgia I have heard good things about Glucosamine.Yes I was once tested after a tick bite got ugly.Came back neg.If you are suffering from typical Lyme disease issues then that’s the reason I asked about testing for Epstein-Barr.They do tend to have the same symptoms or at least similar. Check with your Doc.Good luck.
