I have not had a sonogram yet, I had one burst the other day and went right into the GYN to see what the heck happened. At planned parenthood they do have a sonogram so I am makeing an apointment tomorrow elsewhere so I do not know what kind or anything like that I do know she said both overies and the one in my uterous was so big she tripple checked my negative pregnancy test. I am already on oxycodone for fibromyalgia so so obviously that is ok ( oxycodone is percocet without tylenol, straight narcotic ) She did give ,e alot of info so I am wondering what I should or shouldn’t be doing and takeing? like is it ok for aspirin or tylenol or anything ( sometime my pain meds need to be topped off with a regular dose of tylenol or naproxen, I also occasionaly use muscle relaxerswich I forgot to mention to the gyn ? Are tampons ok, or should I stick to pads? I know with sex ( I’m married it can and does happen) we just have to be really gentle and slow. I tried googleing but couldn’t find a do’s and don’ts list just lots of medicle facts wich I am ignoring ( to much scary stuff) until the ultrasound. So any info on do’s and don’t reading material suggestions ( like I said mostly looking for do’s and don’ts, until I know exactly whats going on I don’t want to scare myself more ) wether book, magazine webpage, whatever.
please no spammers, please no links to how to naturally cure them or whatever just info on does and dont’s and any comfort ideas are good to.
thanks
I am on BCImplannon implant in my arm) , my doc is wondering if that is the cause but we just wont know anything until the sonogram I guess. I was fortunate with the pain meds, I was starting to wonder if I had ijured myself because if I forgot to take my meds or had any pressure put on my lower back I would get HORRIBLE pain that would start in my back and wrap around to my stomach, there is alot of pain associated with fibro but generally not like this, the oxycodone helps alot although ai can still feel them I know it could be alot worse

1All medications and drugs have side effects. It seems if you take the medical route you will have drug upon drug administered to you. Long term this may cause you other problems.
My mom is overweight and the number of medications she is on is horrifying. I would research other natural methods to help yourself. The doctors are there to give quick fixes but at what cost.

2I had cysts as well. Tylenol and naproxen is safe, because they actually prescribed me naproxen for it,but ask your doctor to make 100% sure. Sex,at some point, may get just way too uncomfortable for you. DEFINTELY use a pad. Tampons could cause it to hurt a ton worse, and they just told me to not even try to use them. Stick with pads. I know it can,and most likely will,as it gets farther if it doesn’t go away on it’s own, feel like pregnancy. I had to have on surgically removed, because it got so big. For me at one point,I ended up testing a few times because of how much it felt like pregnancy. Make sure you use protection with sex,so you don’t end up pregnant. Good luck with it,and feel better. I know my dr only gave me vicodin, and that’s it,and it barely touched the pain. I got percocet after the removal of it.
