fibromyalgia is usually the first thing people worry about when they've got pain and fatigue, but definitely go back and see the doctor. ask for a thyroid function test - particularly if no doctor thought to do this for you in the past. Hashimoto's disease will cause random swelling, painful joints and dreadful fatigue - as well as many other symptoms - because an underactive thyroid gland affects every system in your body. have you had dry hair that seems to break a lot? treatment is with replacement hormones if that's the cause. google it and see if it explains your symptoms a little better. I hope you feel well soon.

It's possible. So what are you doing for yourself now that you think you may have fibromyalgia? Have you tried doing more exercise to get it worked back out of your system? If not I suggest you do. You have to get into running a mile a day to help yourself or swim for about 15 minutes a day. The exercise is about the same. And it will help. In about a week or two you should notice a decrease in the sypmtoms or none at all. Continue to exercise to keep it away for good. Drink lots of water and cut out the sugars, they will make the symptoms worse.
