i have chronic pain syndrome and fibromyalgia. I have good days and bad days. i tend to overdo it on good days, because it makes the days following very bad days. I am to the point of being bedridden on those days. I woke up this morning to severe pain in neck and lower back/leg pain including migraine. I am seeing a pain management clinic doctor for "special cases of pain". we have tried all sorts of things and so far the only thing i can do is take something to sleep so i can have some pain relief and make the day shorter in perception. I called this doctor today to report the most severe pain and regional pain i have ever had. i actually called yesterday and they didnt return my call which i dont think that helped much for my emotional distress. so after TWO calls to the clinic this morning i just got a call back and was told that the pain doctor cant see me again until the 12th of june. and he wont change or increase my medications til then. i was basically told that i was gonna
have to "deal with it." i am a bit furious and completely dejected and I called back and told them i needed another reasonable option. no call back yet…. but the second lady i talked to said the only thing i can do is go to the ER. this is not an option for me. So after all management techniques exhausted, I am stuck. I need some help with dealing with this severe pain. anyone have any options? I am not allowed to take prescribed meds from any other doctors, there is a strict code of conduct with the clinic and they even do "pill counts" so i cant take more meds than prescribed. I am an inch away from buying meds online which is illegal for one and for two, i get a U.A. every visit. I am totally screwed. I need help. sorry this is so long. thanks

1Fibromyalgia is belived to be a disorder of teh central nervous system. Narcotic meds do not help much.
Have you tried teh neuro based meds such as Tramadol, Lyrica, SNRIs? they show teh most promise fro FMS
