1Amitripyline
an antidepressant that can help fibromyalgia
Many professionals believe that the central cause of the pain of
fibromyalgia is a low level of serotonin. Thus, it is beneficial to
raise serotonin levels and improve sleep quality along with providing
adequate nutrition
(That’s where an antidepressant can help, by boosting serotonin
levels, which also affect sleep)
-Fibromyalgia symptoms can be helped by getting more deep sleep, so
Benadryl may be beneficial.
Chronic pain sufferers, especially those with fibromyalgia and chronic
fatigue syndrome, tend to be deficient in magnesium. Magnesium
supplementation has produced very good results in treating
fibromyalgia.
Common painkillers such as aspirin, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen are
not usually effective at relieving the pain of fibromyalgia. Other
approaches, including attention to diet, exercise, and nutritional
supplementation, are more likely to be of benefit.
Exercise
Daily gentle aerobic exercise is very important. While patients
who do too much exercise too soon or of the wrong kind will make
themselves temporarily worse, most patients who don’t begin a
daily aerobic exercise regimen will notice little improvement in
their fibromyalgia symptoms. Aerobic exercise is defined as
exercise that gets your heart rate up to a target heart rate for
the duration of the exercise period.
Homeopathic approach
Vitamin D
Capsaicin Cream
Vitamin B12

umm, The what system?
NEUOPR SYSTEM?? what is that..
and you are suggesting her 14 year old son take a prescription medication for erectile dysfunction?
and I did not suggest that vitamins are a cure. Treatable is not the same as CURABLE.
I listed homeopathic remedies because what else is there? She said that the medicines didn’t work and she does not want to give him a prescription that is not approved for kids..

2teh 3 approved meds are Cymbalta,. savella, and lyrica..
i am guessing that you have tried a bunch of antidepressants and anti seizure meds..
even in adults–they have limited success…..and especially with cymablat and savella teh side effects are intoerable..
hope lies in research and experiemtnal treatments—ampligen (for CFIDS) naltrexone, even viagra is being studied–to help boost bloood flow to teh brain–althoguh cialis for daily use sounds liek a better option
hoempathic is an optin–but it needs to taregt the NEUOPR SYSTEM-
not viatmin deficieny or skeletal system l
teh options sited are unlikely to help real fibro–only misdiagnosed fibro—rmember ther is no inflammtion….
Vitamin D –fms is not a vitamin deficieny
Capsaicin Cream–not a skeletal/inflammtory issue
Vitamin B12–not a viotamin deficieny
a vitamin deficieny can mimic fms–but if you are cure with viatmins–you dind’t ahve fmns to begin with
