I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a year ago. I have 16 of the 18 tender points, and all the shit that comes with fibromyalgia. I have 2 spots that have always hurt me the most, and theyre not on any of the typical tenderspots. Does anyone else have severe tenderspots thats not typical for fibromyalgia? If not, could it be that the diagnosis of my fibromyalgia is wrong???

1i’ve had it for years. as the body has many pressure points and area’s that are more sensitive than others. you will have area’s that will be worse than others. cortizone shots only work for a few days on most people.

2Mine are my fingernails. The slightest pressure on them is excruciating. I’ve also become very sensitive to bright light and loud noise. I was diagnosed six years ago.
That’s a novel name you’ve chosen for yourself.

3I have all kinds of weird symptoms too with my FM.
If you think your diagnosis could be wrong, check back with your doc.
You were tested before for lupus, MS and autoimmunity?

5Fibro not only affects the 18 tender points, but also affects all muscles, which possibly could involve the heart, eye, etc muscles also. If it is really botherosme, you need to seek an specialist.
